This event will involve steppers from local and regional high school students as well as collegiate steppers. This event is also the largest fundraiser for the center and last year raised $5,000. Please join us this year as we strive to exceed last years total!

We will also be at Moseley table #7 the week of the 13-17th and 20th-24th, so come get an Earth Week schedule and donate to the Bald Head Island Conservancy, a non profit that helps protect the natural habitat of the NC coast!  We will be accepting pheonix cash, regular cash, meal plans and meal dollars!

Monday 4/20
-Elon Township Stream Cleanup (Woodale Dr. and S. O’Kelly Ave.)– 2:30-5:00 P.M. Meet at Boney Fountain at 2:30 to walk over together
-Potluck dinner using locally grown and organic ingredients–5:00 at Elon Community Garden (next to Truitt Center, rain location inside Truitt)

Tuesday, 4/21
-College Coffee sustainability table
-Farmer’s/local arts market–1:00-5:00 P.M. on the lawn in front of Colonnades
—Sustainable Fashion Show @ Farmer’s market from 4-5 P.M.

Wednesday, 4/22
-Landfill on the lawn (see how much of Elon’s trash can be recycled)–11:00 A.M.-2:00 P. M. on the West Lawn outside of Octogon
-Authors Stephen and Rebeka Hren speak about carbon-free living (they’ve built a couple of zero-carbon homes)–7-9 P.M. in McMichael 115, reception in 117
-S’mores With Outdoors–10-11 P.M. on the patio behind the gym swimming pool (vegan marshmallows and such)

Thursday, 4/24
-Sierra Club highway clean up (portion of highway on N. Williamson)–2:30-5 P.M. meet 2:30 at Boney Fountain to go together
-Elon Community Garden workday–4-6 P.M., Community Garden next to Truitt center
-Movie(s) on the lawn (3 documentaries about wildlife/sustainability)–9-11 P.M. West Lawn

Friday, 4/24
-Tour of T.S. Designs –1:30-3:30/4 Meet at Boney Fountain, BioBus transportation will be provided
-Earth Fest Concert (Tipsy Bacchanals, Ailyne, Sea Monster, Russell Howard, Layden)–9:00 P.M.-2:00 A.M. on lawn in front of Koury Gym (rain location Whitley)
 

Both local musicians and Elon favorites will be performing.
