Mitchell Messinger, a veteran entertainment publicist is heading the Los Angeles entertainment public relations course which includes a semester of meetings with professional, career-building opportunities for students with some of the industry鈥檚 top brand strategists.
In a new Los Angeles management course, Hassan Awad, an expert in the field of global business and management, is focusing on the specific challenges and opportunities for Los Angeles-based businesses, both for-profit and nonprofit, and how to both meet and rise above those challenges in a constantly evolving business landscape.
Returning faculty this fall include art historian and museum curator Anthony Carfello, teaching the L.A. art history course, and Mason Richards, award-winning director, writer and producer, teaching the communications and business internship course, in support of student experiential learning in both areas.
