A publication that covers news and trends in American legal education lists �������޹�����Ʒ School of Law among the nation’s best for women leadership.

Elon Law was listed #5 and earned a letter grade of “A+” on featured in its latest back-to-school edition.

The magazine cited data from the American Bar Association on the number of female students and faculty to develop “a list of standout institutions.” In addition, the magazine noted “women with leading roles in student bar associations and law reviews.”

At Elon Law, women comprise 62% of the student body and 61% of the faculty. Women administrators also oversee academic affairs, academic success, career services and student life, the law library, and the registrar’s office.

Multiple student organizations and publications are led by Elon Law women leaders, including: 

• All four 2024 executive officers of the Student Bar Association
• The top two leadership posts of the Elon Law Review
• The top two leadership posts of We the People: Elon Law’s Constitutional Law Journal
• The head of the Elon Law Pro Bono Board
• All four co-directors of the Elon Law Mentors Program
• Three quarters of Elon Law’s Moot Court Board are women

Elon Law is the preeminent school for engaged and experiential learning in law. With a focus on learning by doing, it integrates traditional classroom instruction with a required, full-time residency-in-practice field placement for all full-time students during the winter or spring of their second year. The law school’s distinctive curriculum offers a logically sequenced program of professional preparation and is accomplished in 2.5 years, which provides exceptional value by lowering tuition and permitting graduates early entry into their careers.

Elon Law has graduated more than 1,500 alumni since opening its doors in 2006. Its annual enrollment now tops 440 students and the law school is regularly featured in PreLaw Magazine’s “Best Schools for Practical Training” rankings, reaching #4 in the nation in 2024.

The Elon Law Flex Program, a part-time, in-person program of legal study for working professionals, launched in Fall 2024 at �������޹�����Ʒ’s Charlotte campus.
