Wood SLP Services is a small private therapy practice that has been providing private speech and language therapy to pediatric patients and their families since 2004.  We are now planning to expand our team to include Physical Therapists in order to build a multidisciplinary team for the NC counties that we serve.  Population to serve will be pediatrics birth to 18, with the primary caseload being birth to 3 years of age.  Most referrals will be from the NC Infant Toddler Program/CDSA, which serves children birth to 3 years of age.  PT caseloads will also include doctor and parent referrals of kids 3 years-18 years of age.  Employees will be contract employees without benefits, except for 1 hour paid per working day at the contracted hourly rate in order for therapist to complete required paperwork.  Contracted rates will be from $50-$60 per 4 units of therapy (1 hour of therapy) depending on experience level.  PTs will make their own schedules and work as many or as few hours as they want.  Full time is preferred, but will consider part time applicants as well.

Requirements for Contract Employees:

•   Pediatric job experience either in a clinical practicum or job
    setting.

•   Current NC PT license.

•   Completed and obtained a bachelors, masters, or doctorate Physical Therapy Program at an accredited program/university.

Job Responsibilities

•   Provide therapy and evaluations of Pediatrics in homes, daycares, and other community settings as appropriate.

•   Write through evaluation reports and treatment plans.

•   Create home therapy programs for patients and coach parents
    on how to implement home programs.

•   Participate in IFSP meetings as necessary.

•   Collaborate with other patient therapists (i.e. SLPs, OTs, etc.).
