Queens in Pearls, Inc. is in need of student volunteers to help facilitate a teen book club.
S.M.A.R.T Club (Sassy Minds All Read Together) is a reading, literacy,聽and comprehension after school club. 3-5 student volunteers are needed to read and discuss the current book of study. They will need to help聽the girls (middle and high school)聽with聽understanding聽key vocabulary聽words and reading comprehension skills. Set up and clean-up of the event space may also be required. No special skills are required of volunteers. This event will take place every Thursday from Feb. 28 to March 19, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 pm at聽673-B Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
