Brief Biography
Chelsea Millington is an Assistant Professor of Law at ¸£ÀûÑÇÖÞ¹ú²ú¾«Æ· School of Law. Prior to joining Elon, Chelsea served as a Visiting Assistant Professor and Donald Gaines Murray Fellow at the University of Maryland School of Law. She teaches Contracts, Intellectual Property, and Business Drafting. Professor Millington's current research focuses on trademark enforcement, and her recent article on publicity rights in broadcast performances is forthcoming in the Lewis & Clark Law Review.
Before entering acadamia, Professor Millington worked as an associate at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, LLP in Washington, D.C., where she specialized in trademark law and complex commercial litigation. She previously served as a law clerk to Judge David C. Norton of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.
Professor Millington holds a JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law (with honors), where she was a member of the North Carolina Law Review and the Broun National Trial Team. During Law school she received a Certificate in International Business Law from Université Jean Moulin III in Lyon, France. She obtained her B.A. in Global Studies from the University of North Carolina (highest distinction).
