A 1998 graduate of Elon, Cathy returned to the community as an employee in July of 2009.

Prior to her return to the institution, Cathy earned a Master's degree in Youth Ministry, and worked for eight years in Campus Housing, Residential Education, and Residential Facilities Management. Prior to her current role, she worked for nine years in Healthcare. 

Since her return to Elon, she has served in a variety of roles and departments, including Auxiliary Services, Student Life/Health Services, Records, Financial Aid, and Enterprise Solutions.

Cathy is a lifelong learner and has taken post-baccalaureate courses in College Student Personnel Administration, Higher Education Leadership, Business Administration, and Healthcare Administration. She has taken other professional development courses in Lean/ Six Sigma, Project Management, Health Coaching, Personal Training, and Life Coaching. She is currently pursuing an MS of Business Analytics at Elon and an AAS in Computer Programming and Development at ACC.

A bit of a dilettante and serial hobbyist, Cathy enjoys hiking, golfing, reading, doing beadwork, music, and completing the NYT daily crossword.
